About Our Farm

The farm itself is managed through holistic, sustainable and
organically spiritual agriculture practices. Animals are treated
with respect and provided with wholesome foods they would
normally consume.  My guys and gals are raised in a small
and loving farm environment. No drugs are given to increase
their weight or milk production. If an animal becomes ill they
are removed from the herd, treated in as natural manner as
possible to assure their health and given adequate time to
recuperate.

I continually research and implement practices which will
provide the best environment, conserve resources and return
more than we use. I practice 'plant spirit medicine' along with
a variety of forms of herbal and quantum healing.

Parasite Formula

When I moved to this area a year
ago, people were losing as much as
half their herds due to parasite
resistance. After losing some of my
boys and girls I began 'treating'
them as I would any of my human
patients. The following formula has
produced a 'no parasites or eggs
seen' from the fecal exams my vet
performs on my animals.

Using a good quality cooking oil as
the liquid base and one 48 ounce
chopped garlic (I get these at
Sam's in the dried spices area)
liquefy in the blender ( you may
need to do smaller portions at a
time). When the garlic is finished
add one ounce of liquid grapefruit
seed extract (you can purchase
this at your health food store or the
least expensive is online at
www.allhealth.com) and blend until
well incorporated. Since I treat
about 100 animals at a time I use
chopped corn as my 'delivery
method'. I use one container of
garlic/gse mixture to each 50# sack
of corn. Make sure every animal
gets their fair share. If just starting
the program do once a week for
three weeks then monthly
thereafter. I also put 25 drops of
GSE per gallon of water in their
water tanks once a week. I use
organic apple cider vinegar to
dissolve the GSE (it's an oil base).
Do not use if you keep fish in the
troughs.

Both garlic and GSE have
preventive health uses. Take the
time to read about the benefits of
each one. It's alot cheaper than
any commercial wormers, has more
uses and is an easy delivery
system.
